We are the “Crane Puppy Pack” Six yellow pure breed Labradors, three girls and three boys

We have just had our first birthday which is nothing unusual after 12 months apart from one sad fact that we had been taken to the vet to be PTS as we were not showing signs of being able to walk at 8 weeks old.


The vet thought we had Neospora caninum and so contacted the Labrador Rescue Trust to see if we could help. We took them on and agreed to support them for the rest of their lives. They were treated for Neospora and we hoped they would gain the ability to walk.


It was subsequently found that they had not been tested for Neospora and had been misdiagnosed as when our own vet tested them they came back negative for that condition. We therefore sought further professional guidance and have had two of the pack visit the Royal Veterinary College in London to see one of the top Neurologists in the country.
