Dartanyan – goodbye to the Sanctuary’s gentle giant

The Donkey Sanctuary said goodbye to an icon of the Sidmouth Sanctuary this week, as Dartanyan the gorgeous Poitou donkey was sadly put to sleep on the advice of the veterinary team.
