The Border Collie Trust is appealing for people with time, patience and big hearts to adopt a collie in need of a home. The charity offers ongoing support to new owners, even after a collie has settled in.

Jake, a Lurcher once dubbed Britain's most unwanted dog, has found his forever home after more than 1,700 days in the care of Dogs Trust Leeds. He arrived at the charity in 2015 and struggled to attract a new owner despite thousands of applications for other dogs in its care.
Noah, an eight-month-old Dogue de Bordeaux born with a life-threatening cleft palate, is thriving after complex surgery and a nutritious diet arranged by charity Bronson's Cleft Palate Angels Rescue. The non-profit supports Dogues de Bordeaux and Mastiffs in need.

Tula, a three-year-old Lurcher, is looking for her forever home at Dogs Trust Shoreham after spending 1,050 days in the charity's care. Found as a stray and taken in during March 2021, she has been classed an 'underdog' due to her lengthy stay in kennels.
A stray dog in India named Biggie was rescued by UK charity Worldwide Veterinary Service after being found with a huge mass around his skull in Mettupalayam, Tamil Nadu. He was brought to WVS's facility for treatment and named for his big-hearted nature.
