The wealth of advice available is easy to find and enables us to tailor our pet’s eating habits to its own needs and our own preferences. But how did the pet food industry start, and what did we feed our pets on before? And how, with lots of natural and raw products now available, is the way we feed our pets perhaps turning full circle? What can we learn from the past to help us think about how we feed our pets today?
